3. Slide 2 Now select the source to send to the projector; click the “Doc Cam” button on the console.

4. Slide 3 Flip the document camera’s power switch to on.

5. Slide 4 Press the lamp button to turn the upper lamps on. Note that the main output light is now lit.

6. Slide 5 Place the document on the bed of the Elmo.

7. Slide 6 The zoom seems too tight. Zoom out (wider).

8. Slide 7 You’ve switched to base lighting. Press the lamp button again to turn the base lamp off.

9. Slide 8 Both lamps are off. Press the lamp button again to turn the upper lamp on.

10. Slide 9 Too tight. There’s missing text on both sides. Widen out some.

11. Slide 10 You’ve switched to base lighting. Press the lamp button again to turn the base lamp off.

12. Slide 11 Both lamps are off. Press the lamp button again to turn the upper lamp on.

13. Slide 12 The text is readable but the left and right edges are not displayed. Unfortunately, this is as good as it gets. Text Templates

14. Slide 13 You’ve switched to base lighting. Press the lamp button again to turn the base lamp off.

15. Slide 14 Both lamps are off. Press the lamp button again to turn the upper lamp on.

16. Slide 15 The entire width of the page is visible now, but the text is so small it is difficult to read. Zoom in some (Tele).

17. Slide 16 You’ve switched to base lighting. Press the lamp button again to turn the base lamp off.

18. Slide 17 Both lamps are off. Press the lamp button again to turn the upper lamp on.

19. Slide 18 Sorry. You’re not allowed to make that selection on the control console in this simulation.

20. Doc Cam Page Templates Each of the thumbnail images are links to printable template slides. Each layout provides very light guide lines that suggest text size and positioning of page elements for your students use with the document camera.
