ASU19 The ASU19 – Jump Start is a one-week program for incoming first-year students to ASU and is designed to set them up for academic success. Students will be introduced to the tools and processes that support their journey and will learn how to connect with other students via collaborative environments. Students are encouraged to register for the in-person Jump Start 2015 transition program as a companion experience to this course on August 12-14, 2015. This is a zero (0) credit course and there are no fees attached to it. The sections are listed in the Fall semester class search.

FIN123 A practical approach to financial challenges faced by ASU students. Emphasizes financial choices likely to be encountered while at ASU, as well as issues to be encountered immediately upon graduation. Topics include credit cards, student loans, credit scores, saving, investing, insurance, transportation, housing, taxes, goal setting and budgeting. Students will be encouraged to complete the course before the start of the Fall semester. They will be billed for the course as a part of the Fall semester.
