4 energy efficiency and reliability Presentation titleDD.MM.YYYY4 The various learning systems 1.Sitting by Nellie  An experienced employee with considerable expertise guides a novice.  It is a one to one training.  It provides more intense training and learning experience as it is customized to the needs of the individual. 2.Competency – based training.  A cluster of related knowledge, skills and attitudes that affects a major part of the job.  It also correlates with performance of the job and can be improved via training and development.  E,g Quality engineers may have the same job specifications ( required competencies) but not all will perform at the same level.

Problem Central  Basically, people learn to solve the problem together.  People share a concern for finding the solution together.  They interact with each other and explore how to do it better. 4. Action learning  Basically single loop and double loop learning by Chris Argryis.  It may deal with situations not encountered before.  It does away the defensive routines.

Training Procedures.  These are company procedures detailing how training should be carried for each specific job or functions.  It begins with training needs analysis and establishing learning outcomes before a training plan is established  It could also relate to detail steps of skill training. E,g training procedures specifying the steps on how to solder.  There are standards established to be measured against the training effectiveness. 6. Knowledge Management  Basically it is learning from past experience.  It deals with the past information and how they apply to solve the problem.
