Timeline May 19, 1925 Malcolm X was born in Omaha, Nebraska. 1931- Malcolm dad gets ran over by a streetcar and dies. 1939-Malcolm tells teacher he wants to be a lawyer but she said lower expectations. 1939- Malcolm gets caught for breaking and entering and gets sent to jail. 1952- Released from prison 1952- Elijah Muhammad give Malcolm X in his name. 1953-1955- Malcolm X becomes minister of 3 Islam Temples. 1958- Gets married to Betty Sanders and they have a child named, Attallah. 1959- Malcolm X becomes ambassador of Islam. 1969- Malcolm and Betty have another child named, Quabilah

Timeline 1962- Malcolm X and Betty have a 3 rd child, llyasah. 1962- Malcolm X finds out that Elijah is an adulterer. 1963- Malcolm gets suspended from representing Islam because of the ‘‘ Chickens Come Home To Roast’’ 1964- Malcolm X breaks away form the Islam nation and creates Muslim Mosque Inc. 1964- Malcolm X travels to Makkah and it made him think differently of white people. 1965- Malcolm and betty have another child named Gamilah 1965- Malcolm’s house get burnt down. 1965-Malcolm X makes a speech at the Audubon Ballroom and got shot 7 times and he was pronunounced dead 1997- Malclom’s X wife dies.

4. Childhood He grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and he moved to Lansing, Michigan when he was 4 years old. His family was harassed by the Klu Klux Klan. When he was 4 years old the KKK smashed all of their windows. He graduated from middle school on the top of his class. In high school he was the president.

5. Adulthood Malcolm converted to the Nation of Islam. Malcolm got sent to jail for 10 years for breaking and entering. Malcolm receives the ‘X’ In his name by Elijah muhammad. Gets married to Betty Sanders.
