3 Keeping Healthy Week This week is Keeping Healthy Week. Year 6 have been organising a special week to show how healthy we are as a school. Some of the other students have sent another presentation round to different years and 2-3 for assembly so every one can be told how important exercise is.

4 Walk to School On Monday morning, approximately 148 people walked to school. 8 people rode either their bike or scooter and an astonishing 220 came in a car. =

5 Walking to school (if you live in Daventry) can help you keep fit and healthy. If you live else where then try to get dropped off nearby/get dropped off at a friends house(if their parent gives you there approval) and then you can walk to school from there. Also you keep the environment healthy so walk to school!

6 Some facts we found We found out that: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. A can of coke has over 10 teaspoons of sugar. In 500 soft drinks there are 52 pounds of sugar. Teenagers have to have over 9 hours of sleep minimum. You need 8 glasses of water every day minimum. You need your 5 a day which includes fruit and vegetables. Keep fit and do lots of exercise.
