9. BRITISH DISAPPROVAL TOWARDS A JEWISH STATE Britain didn’t support the formation of the Jewish state Britain attempted to limit Jews from immigrating to Palestine Britain eventually decided they couldn’t help the Jews or the Arabs

10. UNITED NATIONS HELP TO FORM ISRAEL The United Nations voted that a Jewish state in Palestine should be formed That state was proclaimed on May 14 th 1948 It was called Israel It was the first Jewish state to form in 2,000 years
