Preview of the day: times EDT 11:10-11:50 Small-group discussion of revised goals 11:50-12:15 Break, with optional chat on Elluminate 12:15- about 1:30 Presentation: What makes an effective assignment/activity? ~1:30-2:15 Work on your own: Review of submitted activities using rubric 2:15-3:00 Presentation: Setting ancillary skills goals and choosing content to achieve overarching goals For this afternoon’s session, you will need printouts from the zipped folder that you downloaded for homework yesterday – be sure that you have them at 12:15! Small group discussions of goals Leave Elluminate on; hang up phone. Go to the Workshop Program page, and call back in using your group’s code. Group task: Assign a time keeper. Each person has 10 minutes to receive feedback on revised goals. Post questions to Elluminate chat, if you like. Groups finish by 11:50; optional Elluminate chat from 11:50-12:15. Call back in to1-800-704-9804 at 12:15, using access code 78331341.
