Strategies Fish Bowl Activity Fishbowl activity allows a student to practice a skill under peer review. The rest of the class watches, listens, or reads the question of discussion. A secondary discussion occurs concerning the outcomes and process of the first question. All the questions are cut and placed in a small brown paper bag. Students are teamed into four to five groups. The group with the most correct answers wins the game.

Questions What is a mixture? What are the ways you can separate a mixture? Why can’t a solution be separated? How can you separate iron filings and sand? How would you separate water, sand, and iron filings? What are chemical bonds? Which chemical is combined when using salt? What is a chemical change? Give examples of chemical changes?
