LAN-Repair Flow Chart START Visual Inspection check Lan connector & related components are not damaged. Change damaged connector / component Measure Lan Voltage Check Lan Voltage 3VSB, 2.5VSB, 1.2SB.... Change NG transistor (Q) or fix any trace open Measure Lan Clock Check Lan 25Mhz & PCI CLK 33Mhz or PCIE CLK Change NG X’TAL /CLK Gen. Fix any trace open Check slot signals, compare with good MB Fix any trace / remove any NG PCI device Change Lan Chip Measure Lan Transformer Change NG Transformer Change SB Finished NG OK NG OK Measure Lan AD signals(PCI)
