Dance/Movement Therapy Dance/movement therapy is the psychotherapeutic use of movement to further the emotional, cognitive, physical and social integration of the individual. It is an embodied approach predicated on the empirically- supported concept of bi-directional mind/body integration. It is biopsychosocial, informed by systems theory, and various theories of therapy. www.adta.org/
