ARF stands for the Armenian Revolutionary Federation or also known as “Dashnaktsutyun” Founded in Tiflis, Georgia in 1890 by Kristapor Mikaelian, Stepan Zorian, and Simon Zavarian Formed by the people--grass roots movement A political organization based on social justice, democracy, and national self-determination for the Armenian people. What is the ARF?

Mission & Strength of the ARF MISSION: Free, united, and independent ARMENIA STRENGTH: Ideology, organizational structure, individual member’s commitment, historical past, and the Armenian people

What does ARF do? The ARF reorganizes and revitalizes the Diaspora as a whole and forms new organized communities Functions as umbrella organization in developing communities starting from the GRASSROOTS. This is done through the creation of various sister organizations.

Getting Involved is Simple Any Armenian or non-Armenian aged 18 or older Potential new members must participate in ARF Novice Program prior to being accepted Your respective Gomideh will review applicant’s application to make their final decision

Where Do I Begin? Talk to your AYF chapter executive to contact chapter ARF adviser Email your chapter executive and/or ARF advisor for application, and any questions, concerns or comments you may have
