24 Analysis of Assessment Results  Which students were assessed?  How were these students assessed?  When were these student assessed?  What are the numerical results?

25 Three Possibilities  Overall student results:  meet expectations  exceed expectations  fail to meet expectations

26 Standards  Programs set the standards (academic, industry)  Compare results to standard (minimum expectations)  Calculate average success rate of completing students (formative and summative)

27 Use of Results to Improve Instructional Program  Provides opportunity for discussion of how the findings will be used to improve academic services and  Allows for the design of course testing instruments used in the gathering of necessary data

28 This is where needed changes are recommended based on assessment results Recommendations should involve collaboration between technical faculty and Arts &Science faculty

29 What’s Next? Where do we go from here?

30  Assessment Committee to review all assessment measures submitted by Units  Units begin collecting data as prescribed in Form C  Assessment results are analyzed next August  Results are reported with recommended changes next September

31 IA&R requests all current assessments by September 22 (Capstone assessments, Internship Evaluations, Other assessments)
