University Assessment Departmental Level: Standardized Criteria Ten departments, mostly graduate, use National Accreditation Criteria to assess student learning. Other majors/programs use internal means to assess student learning. University Level: New Position Created Associate Dean for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment: oversees all assessment on campus CAT: Curriculum Assessment Team: Purpose is to assess new curriculum Course Level Assessment

AU Curriculum Assessment Summer 2008: CAT Established Fall 2008: CAT met weekly for 2 hours Recruited 10 faculty participated in Task Stream e-portfolio IT Team member visited classes for orientation Spring 2009: Pilot Program recruiting faculty from all First Year Seminars to participate Analyze data from Fall semester
