Sep-Dec 2016 Curriculum Leader Option Assemblies January 2016 Year 8 Options Assembly with PC and AJH. Focus on Careers in Lifeskills sessions. 2.3.16 Year 8 Evening for Parents and Students. Pathways Option Booklets issued. 3.3.16 Year 8 Opportunities Day for Students and Tutors. Students appointments with SLT 9.3.16 Year 8 PTI 11.3.16 Options Pathway forms submission deadline W/C 14.3.16 Pathway readjustments made. Further Interviews with students by PC/AJH Pathways lists to CL for consultation. A small number of students may wish to change their option choices due to a range of factors which will be discussed with students and parents should the need arise 6-17 th June Year 7/8 Exam weeks 27.5.16 Options Pathways published in letter to Parents. 3.7.16- 22.7.16 Final adjustments to Option Pathways made.

Aims of the session: To review the work done so far on a KS3 Assessment model and feedback on a proposed way forward. To review a proposal for KS3 – 4 transition with the Options process. Whole Staff Discussion and Feedback Tim and Wayne will review their research, discussions and make a proposal about KS3 Assessment in school and national context. Bryan and Trish will review their contextual research and make a proposal about KS3/4 Options transition.
