2 A – Attention Getter A mini-headline that makes a direct link from the caption to the photo. The more creative the better! What attention getter would you use in your caption for this photo?

3 B – Basic Information The first sentence that is addressing the who, what, where, and/or when in the photo. Gives substance to the attention getter. What would you write for the basic information in your caption for this photo?

4 C – Complimentary Information
A past tense sentence that adds information that is not obvious in the photo. Usually contains information about the outcome or the consequence of the photo. What complimentary information could you include in your caption for this photo?

5 D – Direct Quote A quote from someone in the photo discussing an aspect of the event captured in the photo. Quotes capture the thoughts of those involved in the event. Sometimes the quote swaps places with the complimentary information. What is the direct quote that you would use for your caption for this photo?
