Small History involving young evangelists cont’d. In the summer of 2004, a group of thirty young people from Lautaro Church, in southern Chile accepted the challenge to evangelize a new area. The leader, Noemi Sarabia, was helped by pastor Juan Fernandez, and organized the youth for this missionary work. They followed exactly all the instruction they received in an empowering youth seminar offered by the Conference Youth Ministries Department. In September of 2004 they concluded the meetings and baptized 17 people. The local church helped buy the property to build a church. In the first quarter of 2005, the youth again evangelized the area, baptizing eighteen more people.
