9. Job or Career there IS a difference A job is a particular task. It is usually done with very little preparation or training. Can be paid or unpaid. A career is something you prepare and/or train for. It encompasses all of your life’s work.

12. Career Choices Textbook It’s important that we follow the material in the Career Choices textbook in sequence because each part build on the previous part. This is why it’s important to keep up with the work. Often one assignment might refer you back to a previous assignment and if that assignment is not done you will not be able to move forward NO ONE passes Freshman Focus unless his/her 10 year plan is complete up to what is covered in class.
