shelter A long house was good for Huron Indian families that are going to stay in one place for a long time. Long houses were 150 feet long,20 feet high and 20 feet wide. long houses were made of sticks, vines and other stuff.

climate Quebec [which was one of the places that the Huron Indians stayed] was very cold. Winter in Quebec was 5 to 14 degrees faringhit. In the summer Quebec was mostly above 56 faringhit.
