EduSUMMIT5 Responsibility participants summit Bring ‘Call for Action’ under attention of relevant stakeholders in own country: policy – practice – research! Needed: - executive summary - coordination in case of >1 participant/c

EduSUMMIT6 Need for strategical thinking about implementation Balance between top-down and bottom-up: -top-down: direction, conditions -bottom-up: exemplary practices, etc Strategy of ‘courage and care’ - courage to develop/build new educational practices - care for the existing system and its people, e.g. - awareness building on vision (e.g. transformation needed) - professional development

EduSUMMIT7 Importance of R&D – design research Design research: to design/develop an intervention (e.g. program, T/L strategy, process, product, system, etc) with the purpose –to improve practice –to contribute to body of knowledge (and possibly: to inform decision making and policy development) Partnerships of researchers and practitioners
