INFILTRATION The process by which water on the ground surface enter into the soil.

WARM CURRENT Currents that are moving from equator to the other parts are warm current.
COLD CURRENT Current that are moving towards the equator are cold currents

CONFLUENCE: A point at which river meets its tributaries.
TRIBUTARY: Streams of water that falls on river.

Work of river depends on the rate of flow of water (velocity) and the amount of water (volume) flowing through the streams.
