2 Meeting the Success Criteria PART A: RESEARCH PAPER Use MLA format with in-text citations throughout your paper and a proper Works cited to credit the sources you have used whether you copied word for word (direct quotation), changed the wording (paraphrased), used their ideas or their creations (pictures, graphics, etc.)

4 In-text citation for a book Use the author’s last name and page number in the bracket. 6 Citing a website with an unknown author Use the first item that appears in the Works Cited entry that corresponds to the citation. Do not use the URL unless there is no other way to get the reader to the appropriate spot. Example “The Gaboon viper has the longest fangs of any venomous snake in the world (2.5 – 4cm)”(Gaboon Viper). “The Gaboon viper has the longest fangs of any venomous snake in the world (2.5 – 4cm)”(Gaboon Viper).
