College Ready Classes Colleges across Utah suggest taking: 2 – 3 Years of a Foreign Language Spanish, German, French, Japanese, American Sign Language (ASL), Latin, Chinese 4 Years of Math Only 3 years need to graduate from High School 3 Years of a Lab Based Science Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics

Let’s Do Some Math You will be in high school for 4 years Each year you will earn 8 Credits. Term (Quarter) =.25/Class Semester (2 Terms) =.5/Class Year (4 Term or 2 Semesters) = 1.0/Class Full Year of English Earns 1 Credit What is 4 years x 8 Credits/Year = 32 Credits Total How many credits do you need to Graduate? 28 Credits Total Why is there a difference? Seminary does not give you academic credit
