2. Beta’s Past  Dr. John W. Harris is Beta Club’s founder.  The first Beta Club was formed in Landrum, South Carolina in 1934.

3. Beta Now Beta has become the Untied States’ largest …  independent  non-profit  educational youth organization There’s more than 450,000 current members in Beta today.

4. Beta’s Mission  To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.
