Using DDE, you can enter a formula into an Excel spreadsheet cell that refers to a field of data in Peachtree. Whenever you use that spreadsheet in the future, the cell is updated with the current data from Peachtree.

(See textbook pages 625-627.) www.peachtree.com/support/dde You restore Bellwether data from the Exercise 6-2.ptb file to complete Chapter 18. If you do not have Exercise 6-2 data, install Bellwether’s starting data. Installing Bellwether’s starting data is shown in Appendix A, pp. 678-679, Appendix A. Whenever you use DDE, you must start Peachtree first, then Excel.
