5. Installing mIRC  Download the latest version mIRC 6.03  http://www.mirc.com/get.html http://www.mirc.com/get.html  Free Trial for 30 days  Registration Fee $20  Double Click the mirc603 setup icon  Accept everything to the defaults will work fine  Installer will take care of the rest

6. Setting Up mIRC  Connect to Internet  Double Click mIRC icon to start  Close down the welcome screen by clicking X in the upper right-hand corner

7. Setting Up mIRC  Pick Undernet as IRC Network  Pick a Server Closest to Your Location  Fill Name and E-mail Address  Not necessary to put real info  Fill Nickname to use as alias to chat  Fill Alternative for backup  Click Connect to IRC Server

8. Connection  After Clicking Connect to IRC Server, the connection confirmation will come up  You are now ready to join a channel

9. Join a Channel  Pick #Beginner  Click Join

10. Start Chatting
