How To Make A Google.doc for 8 th Science YOU MUST ALWAYS USE CHROME TO WORK IN GOOGLE DOCS

Log into your go.Tahoma google account If you are setting up a Group Project file (not an Individual Research file) one person has to do the work BUT ALL MEMBERS are responsible for making sure the file is setup properly and they are included if needed.

Click on the orange “New” tab on the left

a Drop Down Menu will appear

Click on Google Slides on the bottom of the drop down menu

Highlight the title and RENAME using the directions given by your teacher

Click on the blue “Share” button in the upper right.

Enter the Tahoma email address of your teacher first (and then any other students if needed). *Research will NOT have other students Be sure to uncheck the “Notify people via email box” that will appear.

Click SEND

Click the blue “Share” box again.

Click on the little blue arrow to the right of your teacher’s name and make them the owner. Also check this box (“prevent editors…”) BEFORE hitting Done

You are now done creating your document properly – and can start working with it as instructed or needed. Double-CHECK you have MADE TEACHER THE OWNER ASAP
