1. Atomic Number Number of Protons Number of Electrons Number of Protons = Number of Electrons 2. Chemical Symbol: Letter(s) that represent the element (Always begins with a capital letter). 3. Atomic Mass: Number of Protons + the Number of Neutrons in one atom of the element (an average).
