HELP! Back How do you play Bingo?
There are a variety of ways to play Bingo, and the rules vary depending on where you are. In the US, for example, a game of Bingo uses 75 balls, while the UK version uses 90. I click on a ball but nothing happens. This probably means that you have not enabled macros. This file needs macros in order to function. Enable Content (and Enable Editing) When you opened the file, you might have seen a yellow banner at the top of the page asking you to “Enable content”. If you did not click the button to enable content, simply close the file and re-open it. This time click “Enable Content”, and when you run the file in show mode everything should work as expected. If you have downloaded this file from the internet, you might also see another banner that asks you to “Enable Editing”. Make sure you click on this button as well. Trust Center If you did not see the “Enable Content” banner, it probably means that your Microsoft Office settings are set to disable all macros without notification. You will first need to change the setting to allow macros to run. You can read how to do this by clicking on the following links (internet connection required): Office 2007 Office 2010 or 2013 About Made By James Staziker for NHS, The Junction How to use this file The purpose of this file is to act as a Bingo caller and tracker for any number of balls between 1 and 99. Starting the file To begin, just start the file the same way you would start a regular PowerPoint presentation. Either click on “Slide show” and choose “From beginning” or you can press the F5 button on your keyboard. Moving around To navigate the file, you will need to use the mouse and click on the buttons on each slide. Using the arrow keys on the keyboard will not work, and using the mouse to click on the background will not advance the slides. To use the keyboard, you can use the TAB key to cycle through the buttons on the slide, and the ENTER key to press a selected button. Selecting the number of balls To select a number of balls to include in the game, you can choose one of the standard amounts (75, 80 or 90) by clicking on the appropriate ball on the start page. To choose a different number of balls, click on the Other ball, and enter an amount between 1 and 99. When you select the 75 ball, you will have the option of including the letters B-I-N-G-O above the numbers on each ball. Choose YES if you want the letters to appear or NO for numbers only. Choosing the next ball To bring up the next ball, from the tracker slide, click on the ball in the top right corner. Resetting the game To reset the game and start over, just click on the HOME button. This will reset all of the balls that have been chosen and take you back to the start page.
