A citation is a quote or reference from another text, book, author, or internet site.

According to BTU School of Foreign Language policy, any plagiarism results in a ZERO for the assignment. Students may also receive other punishments, including a 6-month suspension from school.

Quotation using the same words, “like this” Paraphrase sharing the same idea in your own words Summary giving a shorter version of the main idea Data, statistics, or special knowledge using numbers or facts from a text

Give information about the text: Who? Who is the author? When? When was it published? What? What is the title? Where? Where can we find it?
