2. What is meditation?What is meditation? Hagah “Hagah”: to ponder, devise, muse, imagine or plot. ◦ Thinking - Dwelling on a subject … to seek greater understanding. ◦ Seeking to have a deeper understanding of God & His word.

3. On what do we meditate?On what do we meditate? God’s Word God’s Word ◦ “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day & night” (Josh 1:8a). ◦ A forgetful hearer is NOT blessed by the Lord (Jas 1:25).

4. On what do we meditate?On what do we meditate? God’s Works God’s Works ◦ “I will remember the works of the LORD; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old. I will meditate on all your works & consider all your mighty deeds” (Psa 77). ◦ It puts us in awe of God’s power. ◦ It reminds us that God works for us (Rom 8:28; 2 Cor 1:3-5; 7:5-7; Phil 4:8).
