Summary Plans 2013
2
Content Module assembly at CERN and Dubna Readout DAQ Procurement Stacking Summary
3
Module assembly First chamber at CERN well under way (HV going on) First module in Dubna is progression well. The plan is to complete 3 modules by the end of 2013. Production DB!! (discussion next week in Dubna)
4
Plans and manpower at CERN ~12 months or 6 months of two operators
5
Readout DAQ Several issues are identified and we need to establish a plan to address them Set-up in the lab, 64-straw prototype and Module 1 in ECN3 is available No more test beam COSMICS Use monochromatic electron beam (2 MeV at ~100Hz) made in DT and coordinated by Christian Joram. Ready in January DAQ ? DCS
6
Procurement full detector Module frames have been delivered Manifold delivery will be completed in February These are the big contracts for detector parts Active webs are ordered and first delivery in February Plastic parts, crimp tubes, gas connectors, covers, wires etc ok MPOD ok. Order the complete set Gas system works well: the 3 other racks need to be completed Patch panels. Validation has been done (except HV). A few modifications to add, but we can launch the production of patch panels About 1200 straws needed at CERN Electrical components, cables, Active Covers, PP, SRBs….
7
Stacking and installation The stacking table need probably to be moved to a different location We have validated the procedure which allows to be confortable with 1 week per chamber for stacking Note: We have not yet addressed in detail the test and commissioning
8
Summary The TR has been very important step and we have solved a long lists of issues. The time it has taken to complete the first chamber for the TR is well invested will be recovered when we install the 4 chambers in 2014 We have also identified issues on readout and DAQ which we have to work on during 2013
