Example- tepee, I, baby, mouse Words that refer to more than one person, place, thing or idea are generally plural in number. Example- tepees, we, babies, mice Write the words below. 2 Grammar: Subject/Verb Agreement A verb should agree in number with its subject. Singular subjects take singular verbs. Plural subjects take plural verbs Example- She plays the violin well. Write the sentences below. Choose the correct verb to fill in the blank. 1. The ocean in the distance. (roar; roars) 2. Squirrels the seeds from the bird feeder. (eats; eat)
