What is breathalyzer? A machine? Drinking? a device to measure blood alcohol content (BAC) from a breath sample

How can the policemen know the amount of alcohol you have drunk? Let’s get into internal body to see what happened!

After the alcohol is consumed, it is absorbed into the blood stream from stomach blood gets into the net capillaries which wrap the alveoli alveoli is located at the bottom of the lungs the alcohol substances transfer from blood to alveoli (lung) to breath out as exhalation air

The text book tells us: Some substances can react with acidic Cr 2 O 7 2- which are not “beverage alcohol” (C 2 H 5 OH) 酒精 Similar reactions: CH 3 OH methanol 甲醇 (CH3)2CHOH isopropyl alcohol 异丙醇 C 4 H 9 OH butanol 丁醇 etc.
