Working with others You work with many others who have either illnesses and can help You work with other medical equipment, such as needles You need to work with data to help patients find out what kind of disease they have.

Work Environment Overall the work environment is calm, with some stress involved This job can take a toll on the body physically and mentally

Working hours The longer you work, the more responsibilities and leniency you have Allowed to choose working hours after a certain amount of time as long it is more that 40 hours Weekends are not always worked but can be for extra time if needed

Aptitudes and abilities Confidence, you need to show the patient what you know and ensure them you can help them Courage, you need to face the patient and tell them if they have a bad disease such as cancer or HIV Patience, some patients may not understand what kind of illness they have so you need to explain

Education and training 4 years of college- a Bachelor degree in the medical/science field 4 more years for a medical degree 2 years of medical training Ex.) Working in the medical field as a helper or observing

Salary and benefits The average salary of a doctor is 250,000 dollars a year with health care Family medical bills are decreased if you become a doctor

The outlook Everyone in their life will eventually need a doctor to help them The advancement of medicine will never stop and will only increase Everyone in the world needs a doctor and disease will always be there

Tasks and responsibilities of a psychologist You have to have a calm and friendly personality You need to find out what kind of mental disease the patient has Researching the mental disease and finding a cure Interrogation is used some times to find a killer in FBI cases

Working with others In this job you end up working with everyone, from people to data The main part of this job is to deal with patients and figure out their mental disorder This job also involves with working with the brain.

The work environment The work environment can be tiring with patients who can be insane. The normal connections of the mind that lead to reason are broken. You need to ensure the patient you are there to help and cure them

The working hours The average hours of a psychologist are 30 – 50 hours a week There is some stress with the hours but there is some flex time with the job eventually

Abilities You need to be calm and friendly to your patients. Confidence is a another ability You can not be angry or become frustrated during the job. Being wise is an important part of the job as well

Education 4 years of college for a bachelor degree in psychology A master’s degree and 3 years of training in the field if you want to work for a well known company
