On the back of your hysteria sheet, define these key terms: Quail – V - to hesitate, lose heart, or retreat in fear Reprieve – V - cancel or postpone the punishment of (someone, especially someone condemned to death). Adamant – ADJ - refusing to be persuaded or to change one's mind.

Write your response to the play. – Topic ideas to cover: What you learned what made you think what would you have done – confess or die? How important is a person’s name, or honor – Has this changed over time? Did people value their honor more in the past or now? Or is it the same?
