There is an on-going requirement to process broadcast material for the channels. Currently it is done as a mix of utilizing limited in- house resources and outsource vendors. This Content Prep Interim In-house (CPII) plan offers a lower cost (vs outsource), tactical solution to support only the UK based channels during 14 month period until the MediaCentre is fully functional.

This Content Prep Interim In-house (CPII) plan offers a lower cost (vs outsource), tactical solution to support only the UK based channels during 14 month period until the MediaCentre is fully functional. This is not an alternative to the MediaCentre There is no integration from the broadcast management platforms into the CPII. Scalability to grow and expand the functionality of the system is extremely limited. The CPII would service only the London based channels with Madrid & Budapest continuing their NetOps as-is until the MediaCentre is on-line.

The CPII will build incrementally upon the existing internal infrastructure, currently supporting OAP workflow, internal ingest and encode services. Vidispine (API based MAM platform) w Cantemo Portal The CPII would modify some of the manual workflow steps currently performed by the Traffic team, automating many of the ingest, encoding, delivery to Playout and archive steps. Opportunity to utilize new metadata organization & identifiers later implemented in MC The interim system would be implemented within 6-8 weeks after green- light, requiring limited bespoke development for the workflow. 9
