CC02 Shashlik type of beam counter Arrived at KEK on 4 th July from U. of Chicago Beam test at pi2 July 2 nd ~8 th, 2003 8 % resolution @ 1GeV, 10 p.e./MeV deposit (Very preliminary !!!)

Summary E391a is aiming at measuring the BR( K L ) – Realizing Step-by-step Preparation of E391a – Three parts are being prepared in parallel – Manage to catch up the schedule Prompt start – Well tuned electronics and DAQ at the engineering run – Cosmic test for each detector components – Minimum beam time for tuning
