Warm Up Warm Up What news papers do you read ? What News programs do you watch? What events do you follow? What memories do you have from your school years when you discussed current events? Today, we will have a Current events Hunt! Are you ready?

Activity Directions Here are the steps to your current event hunt Step 1: Look for your newspaper section and page number, using the Table of Contents Step 2: Record your designated quote Step 3: Find the article in your section that includes your quote, record it on your worksheet Step 4: Complete the worksheet on the 5 W’s of the quote and how it is related to the article
