4 200-500 baby orangutans a year, only just 4 years old, experience mental trauma after watching their mothers killed in front of them. 1000 orangutans a year enter the pet trade and experience inhuman conditions and poor diets. Authorities rarely prosecute the illegal traders and when they do, the punishments are mild.

5 40,000 orangutans + A Decade 60,000 orangutans If we continue to do nothing... They will be be 60% of their entire population gone
