The questionnaire was filled in by 134 teachers in the partner countries. The prevailing age is below 40. 55,9% between 25 – 40 44,7% between 41 – 60 The youngest teachers work in Turkey, Italy, Portugal and Sweden. 75% of all teachers are female, Only in Greece the ratio is 50/50

Rate of consciousness in students ’ health Moderate : Bulgaria - 98% ; Greece - 66% ; Italy - 61% High : Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria are the only countries in which teachers consciousness is moderate or high. Only Turkey presents the highest rate : 88%

Factors which influence students’ health in all countries Except Italy, teachers in all countries believe the family influences their children’s health to a moderate or high rate. 100% 96% 56%

In 4 countries (Turkey, Portugal, Romania, Greece) the family is considered as factor №1 for the eating habits. But in Italy and Sweden it plays the least important part.

3 countries (Sweden, Italy, Bulgaria) consider the influence of friends and peer as the greatest.

PE Lessons TEACHERS IN PORTUGAL 76% TEACHERS IN ROMANIA 60% Teachers in Portugal and Romania express a very high level of satisfaction from the PE lessons.

Support from institutions and parents Only Romania gains Regular support from institutions and parents. The remaining countries get less than the average support. (Sometimes: between 40% - 80%) Greece and Turkey have the lowest level of support: Inst. 82% for Rarely and Sometimes – Greece 92% for Rarely and Sometimes – Turkey 90% for Rarely and Sometimes – Bulgaria Parents. 74% for Rarely and Sometimes – Greece 88% for Rarely and Sometimes – Turkey 90% for Rarely and Sometimes – Bulgaria

The teachers in all partner countries argue that the measures which can be taken to prevent school drops can be prioritized as follows 1.Create support groups ( students+teachers+parents ) 2. Develop individual counseling plans 3. Initiate close cooperation with family Suggested possible ways of fighting the consequences of bad health : 1. Organize children in clubs to work on a common topic 2. Initiate workshops/consultations with experts/counselors 3. Organize events together with the families.
