2 Scoring metrics Each event is scored based on points, time or both. This score will be applied to a matrix of Min / Max. This score will represent the team’s performance which will convert to competition points. The site information boards will explain the scoring criteria and penalties Final scoring will be based on cumulative performance scores. Course time will evaluated in 2 ways Phase 1 – penalties given for teams who meet check-in gates. Eg RMAS Blue to arr NLT 1302 at GR 345252. Team arr 1303 – penalty awarded. Phase 2 – Sprint No prescribed check in time – faster is better All penalties awarded in Ph1 applied to this time Competition points awarded against Min / Max matrix No hold times
