Appositive: Appositive: a description that describes the noun right beside it. (non- essential) Jimmy’s brother, whose name is also Jimmy, likes to skateboard. Coordinating Conjunction: joining two independent clauses using a conjunction. Daniella left her house without saying goodbye to her parents, for she was upset with them. Subordinating Conjunction: joining an independent and dependent cause using a comma. Because my flight is leaving at 8:50am, I need to leave my house at 6am. Adjective combining:joining two adjectives to describe a subect. The big, green balloon flew away.
