17 Points to Remember The completion of interpreting performance does not mean that the work of interpreting is finished. Experienced interpreters, after completing an interpreting task, always make a summary on their performance so as to find out their strong points and weak ones. Interpreting is a Preparing--Performing--Packaging process, which can be further divided into six modules, namely preparing, decoding, memorizing, encoding, coordinating and packaging. Each module involves certain interpreting techniques.
