1 Un Consorzio CLIA Thamus created an Italian language formalised grammar entirely conceived as a modular component for artificial intelligence and computer science applications, within the CLIA Project (Linguistic Components for Artificial Intelligence), This project was carried out with the American "Logos Corporation Technology Development Center" sited in New Jersey (USA). 2 Un Consorzio EUROLANG Later, Thamus took part in the Eurolang-EU676 international project with the scope to realize an integrated translation system (Automatic Translation, Translation Memory, Terminological Databases, Assisted Translation) for ten language pairs. In addition, the following software prototypes were also developed: STA - Assisted Translation System LANGUAGE VERIFIERS: spelling, grammar and style checkers. 3 Un Consorzio OUR PRODUCTS programmes for the automatic management of terminology electronic dictionaries multilingual and multithematic terminology data banks. GRT - Terminological Resource Handler A software for the management of data banks containing Italian multiwords. This software works in a local and external network. GLOSSATI RELOADED A software which helps translating. It gives the possibility of consulting terminological data banks in various languages and it works both in a local and external network.
