Solar Probe Plus FIELDS Fluxgate Magnetometer QSR – June 2015 June 16, 2015 1 SPF MAG Quarterly Report – June 2015 MAG FM1 electronics PCB assembled (see photo) The flight electronics frames and flight sensor components are fabricated. The FM1 sensor build has started. EM MAG sensor thermal cycling completed 200 cycles and vibration testing to EDTRD v2 numbers. No significant change in scale factors, zeros or orthogonality Second MAG Data Simulator delivered to U Minnesota Qualification vibration testing on the MAG EQM sensor was conducted on May 7. Will be repeated when EDTRD Rev-C is signed MAG responses to FIELDS CDR RFAs # 17, 19, and 23 uploaded to PIMS, awaiting requestor response. Response to Advisory #20 available IDL-based verification of MAG EQM test data from FIELDS 2 continues. Development of test procedures for MAG FM hardware continues.
