3 Homework Homework will be assigned by each teacher and is due on the ASSIGNED day.

4 Grading Scale A = Outstanding level of performance 90-100% B = High level of performance 80-89% C = Acceptable level of performance 70-79% D = Minimal level of performance 60-69% F= Unacceptable level of performance Below 60%

5 Bathroom Students are expected to use the restroom during break times and during the passing periods. Students will be allowed to use the restroom only if it is an emergency (teacher’s discretion).

6 Materials Expectations Required materials Pencils Pens with Erasers Erasers Highlighters Notebook 2 inch Binder Self organizer Loose leaf paper

7 Cell Phones and Electronics in Class Cell phones/electronics turned off and put away during school hours. First time cell phone/electronics is visible – verbal warning Second time cell phone//electronics is visible – call home/take away and parents will pick up

8 General Behavior Talking in Class during Teacher Instruction First time – verbal warning Second time – seat change Third time – reflection writing during break time/ phone call

9 Week 1 – students will have a grace period to become acclimated to the middle school routine. Students who are tardy 3 times during a five week period will receive a phone call home. Students who receive 5 or more tardies during a five week grading period will receive an Unsatisfactory grade on the report card.
