4 Second world war ● The terrible war of Brest start the 7th of August, 1944 ● She takes end the 18th of September, after 6 weeks of bombardments. ● At the end of the Second World War, Jacques Prévert composed the poignant poem "Barbara". First bombardment 20 September 1940
