2. WHAT IS A SERVANT?
A servant is: “a person who is under submission to another.”
For Christians this means: “submission to Jesus Christ.”
Servants of the Lord seek to: “carry out the will of Christ.”

3. A SERVANT OF THE LORD
Paul is not expecting others to be something he wasn’t. For he also was a servant of the Lord. (Rom. 1:1, Gal. 1:10; Phil. 1:1; Titus 1:1)

4. A SERVANT OF THE LORD MUST…
Not Quarrel.
Meaning: “Don’t cause a complaint or dispute.”

Meaning: “Mild tempered, kind, or easy.”

Meaning: “Steadfast during times of opposition, longsuffering or forbearing.”
