So you want to know how to swim eh? Then what are you doing here? You should be at James and Rohans’ presentation. But if you're looking for something more exciting, stay here and learn how to tie the famous “four-in- hand” tie knot. Being able to perform this knot is an invaluable piece of knowledge that will impress your friends and colleagues and make that priceless first impression. And don't forget first impressions do last!

Wrap tie around neck with the thicker end pointing to your left and thin end to your right - the thicker part overlapping the thinner end.

Fold thick part of tie under thin part and towards your right shoulder.

Fold the thick part end of the tie over the top and back towards your right shoulder.

Next bring thick part up through the hole between the shirt collar and the cross-section of the knot.

Thread the remaining thick end of the tie through the front most loop of the tie knot.

And lastly tighten and adjust your tie by pulling the short thin end of the tie downward, meanwhile pushing the knot of the tie into the centre of your collar.

Now that you know the steps make sure you practice. This will reduce the time it takes you to tie the knot and increase the quality of it. What are you still here for!?!?!? Go Practice!
