2. Why do this at all… Because it fills vacuums… Because it focuses energies… Because it becomes the best way for you to influence what can happen… But only if you are willing to live it… you got to be willing to LEAD

Thought’s on the Topic … Strategy is implemented methodically… ◦Do it slowly and resist changing strategy mid- course ◦It’s boring but very effective when you have the courage to stick with it ◦Eventually folks do get on-board Culture eats Strategy for lunch, but Leadership hammers Culture into place

4. Tips on Implementing… Board members should champion key initiatives and Chair is responsible for the document… When possible connect your budget… Make it a key part of your monthly agenda… Use an Executive Summary/Dashboard to track progress…
